From small beginnings...
Our managing director, Richard Parker, started The Small Removal Co. in 1985. Richard grew up in Harpenden and the Small Removal Co. has always been proud of its local roots. From one man with his transit van we’ve grown into today’s professional, trusted and capable removals and storage business by helping local people move. Richard remains active in the company today and is our main removal surveyor.
The day to day running of the Small Removal Co. is the responsibility of Roy Peacock, another Harpenden man, and an experienced removals professional.
Our team of removals professionals, our modern fleet of specialist vehicles and our new storage facility in Coldharbour Lane, Harpenden, are here to help you with your moving or storage requirements.

quality and care
Moved my parents (in their 90's) from central London to Harpenden and they were fantastic throughout. They were careful with the packing and moving including some delicate antiques, but also gave friendly attention to my parents so they were not getting stressed. After the move, I got a refund of over £1,000 as it took less time than estimated. I would highly recommend them for the quality and care of their service.
